We partnered with the City of Fort Calhoun, Nebraska, to enhance Adams Street Park through the design and construction of a new restroom facility and amphitheater space, key additions that align with the City’s vision for creating a more vibrant, accessible, and inclusive community destination.
The new restroom structure brings much-needed functionality to the park, improving convenience for both everyday visitors and those attending larger community events. Its location and layout were planned to support ease of access and efficient flow during high-traffic times, ensuring the park can better accommodate a variety of activities year-round.
The newly constructed amphitheater introduces a flexible, multi-use venue that supports a wide range of performances, concerts, ceremonies, and community gatherings. This outdoor space creates new opportunities for engagement and community enrichment in Fort Calhoun.
Every aspect of the project was designed with the park’s existing character in mind, blending materials, scale, and landscaping features that complement the natural surroundings while elevating the overall aesthetic. The result is a welcoming and thoughtfully integrated space that enhances the park’s role as a central gathering place for residents and visitors.
