Once a hub of activity in the 1940s and ’50s, this office building housed the American Legion on the upper floor and Western Union Telegraph on the main level. Due to its proximity to the railroad, servicemen and women would stop here to send communications back home and then enjoy one of the many dances hosted by the Legion.
Located in what is known as the Railside district, the new office blends historical charm and modern amenities. While the renovation was designed to provide open, airy workspaces, the team also sought to preserve the building’s history by leaving a wall of exposed brick and keeping the original wood floors.
